Howrey’s Construction Group Wins Chambers USA’s Award for Excellence

June 14, 2010

Howrey LLP

Howrey LLP’s Construction Group has won the prestigious Chambers USA Award for Excellence in its category. The award was announced at dinner in New York on June 10.

“We are thrilled to have won this award and the recognition that our practice at Howrey is stronger and better than ever,” John Heisse, co-chair of the practice group, said. The group joined Howrey in December 2008 from Thelen LLP.

Andrew Ness, co-chair with Heisse, echoed his colleague’s sentiments. “Our move to Howrey has been good for our clients and has given all of us the additional resources that Howrey provides to serve those clients effectively and efficiently.”

The Chambers US Directory also was debuted at the awards dinner. Heisse, Ness, David Buoncristiani and Stephen O’Neal were ranked in Band 1 by Chambers and were among eight Howrey construction partners highly ranked in the directory.

Since joining Howrey 18 months ago, the Construction Group has enjoyed stunning success, having been engaged in some of the most important construction matters in the United States and abroad, including major hospitality, health care and energy projects.
